The contract IS the project. Not only does the contract contain the official scope of work that the PM will be responsible for completing, the performance schedule, fee estimate, and general terms and conditions, but clients will refer to the contract if any issue arises. Therefore, in order to be an effective PM, you must first know your contract.
By attending this webinar, you will learn:
- Why project managers should care about their project contracts
- The key elements of a typical A/E contract
- The contract responsibilities of a project manager
- How to interpret each section of a real contract in non-legal terms
In this webinar, Richard L. Steinhart will present actual sections of real contracts to show PMs what parts they should pay particular attention to. Essentially a contract language crash course for non-legal staff, this webinar will teach you the tips and tricks to understanding a A/E contract.
